Link Logistics’ Vacant Space Kit is a set of tools, materials and resources provided to leasing and property managers to help market an unoccupied Link warehouse, typically leveraging signage, flyers and staging elements to make the space show-ready for potential customers. In 2025, the firm saw an opportunity to improve the kits.
Link’s Creative Studio and National Marketing teams worked with property managers to determine their design approach. After several rounds of testing, feedback sessions and design iterations, the team launched a redesigned kit that elevated the property tour experience and improved the overall process for ordering and transporting kits.
The newly designed Vacant Space Kits introduced meaningful improvements with both internal and external benefits:
o Engaging and Informative: Assets are strategically designed to clearly articulate Link Logistics’ value proposition and elevate the property tour experience.
o Operationally Efficient: The kits are lightweight, easy to transport and require minimal time to build and install. Additionally, the ordering process is less complicated, and the cost of the kits is significantly lower.
To celebrate the launch and drive adoption, the Creative Studio and National Marketing teams introduced the Vacant Space Kit Challenge to encourage Leasing and Property Management teams to deploy and showcase the new kits in their vacant spaces. Employees were invited to film themselves building the kits as fast as they could, with the goal of achieving the fastest build time. The challenge not only accelerated the rollout but also fostered engagement, creativity and friendly competition across markets.
Link Logistics’ new Vacant Space Kit is an excellent example of how thoughtful design, operational insight and cross‑functional collaboration can solve a real business challenge. By making vacant spaces easier to market and more compelling to tour, the initiative strengthens Link Logistics’ leasing platform, reinforces its brand and improves the customer experience.
