TikTok is video-sharing social networking app with approximately 500 million active users since its launch in September 2016. Carnegie Museum of Natural History began its TikTok account late in 2019 featuring animals from our living collection and our Curator of Mollusks, Tim Pearce, telling his favorite Snail Jokes. The response has been overwhelming, resulting in over 97k followers and 1.2 million likes.
