About The Entry

JonnyPops makes fruit-forward frozen treats with a kindness-forward brand to match. For years, their Expo West presence didn't fully reflect either. The product was there. The energy was there. The physical environment wasn't keeping pace with a brand that had grown well beyond its booth.
For 2026, JonnyPops expanded their footprint from 20 to 30 feet and brought STAR in to make that space actually work. The design solution was a three-zone exhibit structured around how different people experience the JonnyPops brand at a show like Expo West. Up front, a sampling station put product directly in people's hands — the most honest expression of what JonnyPops is about, and the fastest way to turn a passerby into a convert. At center, a freezer display gave retail buyers a concrete picture of what JonnyPops looks like on shelf, which is the conversation that actually moves distribution. Behind a branded popsicle stick wall, a private meeting area created space for the substantive buyer dialogue that a busy show floor rarely allows.
Every zone reflected the same brand logic: warm, direct, a little playful, and built around real human connection. The popsicle stick wall wasn't just a partition — it was a design decision that carried the JonnyPops personality into a functional architectural element.
The results matched the ambition. The sampling station pulled in high-traffic engagement including walk-ins from people who were already fans at home, which says something real about how deeply JonnyPops has embedded itself in the natural foods space. Retail conversations strengthened. Buyer meetings went deeper. JonnyPops left Anaheim with a clearer brand presence on the show floor than they'd ever had before.
As Jess Horst, Manager of Marketing Communications, put it: "Working with STAR has been just the best. I love our new booth."
