About The Entry

We met Chyna Rose through her role as a McGraw Hill Student Ambassador. When we learned about her experience growing up with two incarcerated parents and her passion for higher education, we knew her remarkable story needed to be amplified. We partnered with Tilt!, a Virginia-based crew, to film her at Brightpoint Community College. The final documentary-style video captures her resilience and growth and stands as a testament to the transformative power of education.
