About The Entry
Banking Is Our Craft was UBS’s first unified global campaign following the integration of Credit Suisse. Designed to reintroduce the brand at scale, it moved UBS beyond traditional financial messaging and into a distinctive, culturally fluent space.
Financial services communication often relies on performance claims and reassurance. UBS chose a different approach. Rather than state expertise, it would demonstrate mastery. Craft became the organising idea.
The campaign was executed as a fully integrated global platform spanning advertising, content, partnerships and experiential activation.
At its core was a global brand campaign launched across film, digital, social, out of home and print. Human led storytelling translated Swiss precision, judgement and long term mastery into emotionally resonant narratives, reaching 165 million people worldwide.
Integration extended beyond paid media.
UBS House of Craft became the experiential expression of the campaign. Delivered across ten global cities, the platform brought together leaders in fashion, horology and gastronomy, positioning UBS as a cultural host rather than a sponsor. Flagship collaborations such as UBS House of Craft with Dior amplified the campaign narrative through immersive exhibitions, generating more than 100 million social reach.
UBS Craftmakers extended the idea into a storytelling series spotlighting global icons including Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, June Ambrose and Guo Pei. These films connected cultural mastery with financial mastery, delivering 10 million impressions and UBS’s highest performing social content to date.
The integration was deliberate and systemic. One unifying idea powered paid advertising, owned content, experiential platforms, partnerships and always on social storytelling. Messaging, tone and visual identity were consistent across markets and divisions, creating a cohesive global presence.
Banking Is Our Craft was not a single campaign moment. It was a connected ecosystem designed to build relevance, deepen relationships and sustain long term growth.
The result was a campaign that proved financial services can lead culture, not follow it.
