To introduce Wolverine’s limited‑edition collaboration with country music star Jordan Davis, our team set out to create a launch moment that felt as real, energetic, and grounded as the artist himself—while breaking through one of the most competitive media environments of the year: New York Fashion Week. Our mandate was clear: spotlight the new collection in a way that generated meaningful earned coverage, strengthened media and influencer relationships, and built cultural momentum leading into Jordan’s upcoming tour.
Anchored in authenticity, we selected Desert 5 Spot in Brooklyn—a country‑western inspired rooftop venue that perfectly mirrored the spirit of the collaboration. The concept offered editors a refreshing departure from typical Fashion Week programming, delivering an experience that felt unexpected, warm, and deeply tied to the product and the artist.
Despite going head‑to‑head with dozens of NYFW events, the activation drew 75 top‑tier attendees, including editors from People, Men’s Health, Forbes, Inc., Men’s Journal, Car & Driver, Travel & Leisure, Footwear News and Footwear Insight. High‑reach menswear influencers including @_jonathankirby, @the_creative_gentleman, @vito_9999, @johnphilp3, @hunterfieri and @tarafieri added cultural heat and extended the story beyond the room.
What set this event apart was the emotional response. Editors and influencers repeatedly described it as “one of the most fun events of the week,” a testament to the strategic pairing of venue, brand and artist. The energy in the room translated directly into earned impact. The launch generated 56 pieces of media coverage and 1.1B impressions, driving awareness, purchase consideration and more for the brand and partnership.
The activation not only amplified the Wolverine x Jordan Davis story, but also deepened long‑term relationships with press and creators in an effort to expand future seeding, storytelling, and lifestyle opportunities across the brand.
This launch demonstrates the power of culturally aligned storytelling and thoughtful experience design. It transformed a product drop into a brand‑building moment that resonated across media, influencers, and fans alike.
