This project is centered on the concept of “cultural practice in everyday life”. Through visual storytelling, it reinterprets the role of NPM Store products, shifting them from extensions of the museum into cultural presences that accompany individuals throughout their life journeys. Rather than placing products at the center, the films begin with people and situations, allowing the objects to naturally integrate into everyday moments and become carriers of emotion, memory, and personal values. In terms of content structure, the project builds a multi-layered viewing experience through real customer life records, consumer stories seen from the perspective of store staff, and the bodily sensations that arise when people interact with objects within a space. Individuals of different ages, backgrounds, and emotional states—through their use, selection, or quiet contemplation of NPM Store products—reflect their respective life stages and inner worlds. In this way, culture no longer remains something merely to be observed, but becomes something actively used, experienced, and shared. At its core, the project seeks to dissolve the distance between culture and everyday life. NPM Store products are not burdened with didactic historical narratives ; instead, within subtle daily scenes, they reveal an inclusiveness and continuity that transcend generations and cultures. Ultimately, the films point toward a gentle yet enduring cultural relationship—when culture enters daily life, it is no longer simply something to be preserved, but something that co-creates meaning with people and is slowly written by time itself.
