Leading AR exhibition developer, Histovery, once again partnered with SAM to bring sound and storytelling to life in their latest interactive museum experience – American Revolution: The Augmented Experience. Designed to immerse visitors in the defining moments of America’s fight for independence, the exhibition unfolds across more than 15 richly detailed scenes, each recreating pivotal events, environments, and perspectives from the Revolutionary era.
SAM developed a comprehensive audio landscape to support Histovery's HistoPad tablet experience – enabling visitors to travel to key moments of the American Revolution at the touch of a button. Our composers and sound designers created period-appropriate music along with hundreds of custom sound effects and audio assets that evolve with each scene – from battlefield atmospheres and crowds to intimate environmental details – ensuring that every moment feels authentic.
To further enhance storytelling, the project combined human and AI-generated voiceovers, allowing for dynamic narration and life-like representations. The result is a cohesive, deeply engaging audio experience that not only supports the visuals but elevates the emotional impact of the exhibition, connecting visitors more vividly with the people, places, and events that shaped the American Revolution.
