At Barrett Hofherr, we partnered with 8x8 to rethink what a brand in enterprise CX could feel like. The category had long been defined by technical sameness and feature-first messaging, but the real opportunity was emotional: technology brands were overlooking the people who actually make great customer experiences possible.
Our answer was The Power of You, a brand platform forgoing features or functionality, and instead built around a singular, compelling truth: people, not platforms, drive transformation.
From the start, our goal was to help 8x8 tell a more human story. We partnered closely with their teams to listen deeply – to customers, employees, agents, IT leaders, and to frontline sellers. Across every conversation, we heard the same thing: what truly differentiates customer experience isn’t the software, but the people using it. That insight became the creative and strategic foundation of everything that followed.
Together with 8x8, we created The Power of You as a belief-driven platform that puts people at the center. Messaging was pressure-tested with real-world personas and job functions across roles and regions. The design system was intentionally confident, clear, and grounded in momentum – expressive without being overly polished or tech-for-tech’s-sake. Every visual and narrative choice was crafted to reflect a truth customers already knew: they are the ones driving change.
From a new brand narrative to global sales decks, website copy, internal tools, and high-impact video storytelling, The Power of You touched every part of 8x8’s ecosystem. And while we used AI-enabled tools through every stage of the process, the creative remained rooted in human insight, ensuring every piece felt authentic, empathetic, and real.
The results were immediate and powerful. 8x8’s share of voice rose by 42% quarter-over-quarter. Engagement metrics jumped into double digits. Most importantly, the campaign resonated where it mattered most: with customers who finally felt seen.
For 8x8, The Power of You it went beyond a campaign and became a new way of recognizing their customers. For us, it was a chance to honor the individuals who turn technology into something meaningful. And that’s the story we are most proud to tell.
