The Australasian Catalogue Awards are an annual event that celebrates the creativity, diversity and success of the Australasian Catalogue industry. 2018 saw the 27th year of the awards and we wanted to approach the event theme and overarching design with an objective look at all the people and parts that play a role in the finished product of the catalogue that is the final judged product. The concept aimed to celebrate the cohesion and unity of all these diverse areas bound together by product and process - all working towards the same end goal. We believed a more graphical and light hearted approach towards the depiction of these roles and processes would bring a sense of playfulness and enlightened story telling that would be understood and revered by the audience viewing the campaign. The campaign concept extended across all touch points of the event from entries and website information points through to menu's, lighting and award books on the night.
