For the second consecutive year, Campari Germany transformed Soho House Berlin into the Grand Campari Hotel as part of BCB 2024 - Bar Convent Berlin, the world’s largest Spirit Trade Fair. This special mixological three-day event featured some of the world’s finest bartenders and mixologists across multiple floors and bars. We were honoured to design and produce a luxurious invitation suite, accompanied by menus for each bar venue, key card holders, event tickets, and matching postcards. Inspired by the Grand Budapest Hotel and building on the success of the Grand Campari Hotel in 2023, its reopening in 2024 set the stage for a visual extravaganza. The iconic facade of Soho House Berlin served as the central connecting design element across the invitations and menus, realised in a beautiful multi-level blind embossing on luxurious Gmund Cotton Paper.

The invitations arrived in a custom-made sleeve crafted from Gmund Leather paper, hotfoil embossed with foils by foilco to exude the perfect Grand Hotel vibe. Designed as gatefold cards, they could be easily pulled out by the attached tassel. The blind embossing, combined with the glamorous hotfoil of the logo, created a subtle play of light and shadow, blending sleek elegance and luxury in an appealing design. The invitations were available in red and gold for regular guests, while black and silver were reserved for VIP guests who gained exclusive access to the RARE Lounge. Each VIP invitation included a custom CNC cut and laser-engraved stainless steel ticket.

The key card holders followed a similar aesthetic, featuring golden hotfoil embossed leather paper. The tickets for the individual events and workshops within the Grand Campari Hotel were inspired by vintage cinema tickets. They were laser-cut and printed in golden Risography, just like the postcards. The menus, based on the invitation cards, incorporated individual interior pieces that reflected the brand colour of each pop-up or event. These menus were also printed in Risography in either gold, silver, or neon. The final touch was a hand crafted paper model of the hotel which we've built live in the hotel lounge at the event.
