Imarc built the original Marriott Asset Library more than twenty years ago. Marriott was Imarc's first agency client, and we have always loved working with them to keep their internal tool fresh. It has been updated several times over the past two decades, but recently, Marriott's leadership team recognized the need to change the experience more substantially and to give the product a more branded feel.
The previous media management tool had long been a mainstay for Marriott’s entire team. It was primarily used for finding and cataloging images, but it now needed to focus more on facilitating its users' day-to-day tasks.
To modernize the Marriott Asset Library, we collaborated with their team to build a custom brand around the new name—The Stacks—that made users feel happy, productive, and engaged. After the brand choices were complete, Imarc implemented the design, updated the user interface elements, and focused heavily on the homepage experience, making it more robust, customizable, and personal for every type of user.
While we are very proud of this work, we expect to keep evolving The Stacks to meet changing user needs. Marriott's team is known for staying on the edge, and we'll be right there with them to support any goals they have.
