RNL, the leading provider of higher education enrollment management, student success, and fundraising solutions, transformed its 34th annual national conference into an immersive virtual event for higher education professionals. The event was held July 8-9 and over 1,400 attendees participated in the virtual event.

The 2020 RNL National Conference presented a wide range of topics on enrollment management and student success for undergraduate, graduate, and online students, including campus marketing, student recruitment, financial aid, student persistence, and educational completion. Designed around The Experience Economy philosophy, the event provided three key experiences to engage, inform, and entertain the attendees.

Connect: Virtual networking allowed participants to interact with other attendees from across higher education, conference presenters and experts, and vendors from leading higher education firms.

Change: The sessions helped prepare attendees for the “new normal” of a post-COVID higher education environment, with sessions addressing digital engagement of students, online learning, and keeping students on the path to enrollment and completion.

Chicago: The 2020 conference was originally planned for Chicago, so instead RNL delivered that experience virtually through Chicago-themed environments for sessions, virtual tours of historic landmarks, and events such as virtual yoga at Millenium Park.

The opening keynote was be delivered by Liz Murray, bestselling author of the memoir From Homeless to Harvard and founder of the nonprofit The Arthur Project. Singer Katie Kadan, a finalist on The Voice, also delivered an exclusive performance for participants
